Steinbach Minor Hockey is once again excited to be hosting its 3rd Annual MILLER DAY on Saturday, January 28th brought to you by McMunn & Yates!
• Sleigh Rides - 12:00 pm to 3:00 pm
• Bonfire - first strike of the match @ 10:00 am
• Outdoor Ice Fun & Games for the Squirts Hockey Players - starting @ 10:15 am
• Outdoor Ice Activities with The Rink Training Centre - starting @ 12:30 pm
• BBQ Lunch in the parking lot ($2 for a burger & a drink) - 11:30 am to 2:00 pm
• Pick up Shinny Game on the outdoor ice for all Steinbach Minor Hockey players - 3:00 - 4:30 pm
• Great giveaways for all our hockey players by our sponsors Creative Print All & McMunn & Yates
• Family Night at the Pistons Game - puck drops @ 7:30 pm vs Winkler Flyers - Go Pistons!

posted January 3, 2012 • 2011 SQUIRTS WINTER CLASSIC TOURNAMENT - December 10 & 11, 2011
Steinbach Minor Hockey hosted it's 2nd Annual SQUIRTS WINTER CLASSIC presented by Penn-Lite Electrical & Mechanical. It was a huge success and all teams had a blast!!
The GRAND PRIZE of 2 Adult Winnipeg Jets Premier Jerseys, 2 Winnipeg Jets Caps and a Team AUTOGRAPHED Wood-Mounted Poster was won by BLAIR REIMER of Steinbach. Congratulations Blair!!
All monies raised at this annual tournament will be directed towards the excellent programs offered in the Steinbach Minor Hockey Association and especially to the Squirts Division of Steinbach Minor Hockey, where it will be used to supplement our exclusively low Squirts registration fees.
Thanks to the Squirts Winter Classic Tournament Coordinator, Kim Stott and her most excellent committee for yet another successful Squirts Tournament! Way to go guys!!

Steinbach Minor Hockey is excited to offer our Goalies some fantastic training! We have retained the services of GDI Prairies out of The Rink Training Centre in Winnipeg. All the session costs will be fully subsidized by SMHA and therefore are offered to you at NO COST! This program is available to ONLY the goalies who have registered with Steinbach Minor Hockey for the 2011-2012 hockey season.

GDI Instructors will be out to run Goalie Training Sessions on the following dates:
1) Sunday, September 11 - 10:00 am - 11:30 am @ Centennial - COMPLETE

3) Sunday, September 18 - 1:15 pm - 2:45 pm @ TG Smith - COMPLETE
4) Tuesday, December 27 - 11:00 am - 12:45 pm @ TG Smith - COMPLETE
